At CMH 23, our mission is simple: to make sure the world knows about the beauty, history, and incredible talent that define the Country Music Highway.

For too long, Eastern Kentucky has remained one of the best-kept secrets in tourism. Despite Kentucky generating $10 billion in tourism revenue, the Country Music Highway receives less than 5%—not because it lacks something special, but because the world simply doesn’t know what awaits them.

From legends like Loretta Lynn, Chris Stapleton, Dwight Yoakam, The Judds, Ricky Skaggs, and Patty Loveless, to rising stars like Tyler Childers, this region has produced more country music icons per capita than anywhere else in the world. But it’s more than just the music—the Grand Canyon of the South, the Breaks Interstate Park, the Elk, the trails, and the rich history of the Hatfield & McCoy feud all make this region a destination worth discovering.
