Josh Martin is an artist from the coalfields of Eastern Kentucky whose music bridges the gap between mainstream country and the traditional bluegrass of his Appalachian heritage. After moving to Nashville in 2013, his talents as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist quickly gained recognition, leading to a publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music in 2016. While early releases like “How’d You Know” and “Just My Luck” brought industry attention, Josh eventually chose to pursue a more authentic sound. His independently released 2019 album, **Nothing Holding Me**, showcases his honest songwriting and extraordinary musicianship.
